Report an error or inaccuracy

Email Info@73auto.com with the page URL, the specific figure or sentence you believe is wrong, and — where you have one — a link to the correct official source. We review every report.

Last reviewed: 2026-08-13

What to include

  • The exact page URL (or the vehicle registration, for a report-specific issue).
  • The specific figure, claim or sentence you believe is incorrect.
  • Why you believe it's wrong — ideally with a link to an official or authoritative source.

What counts as a correction

  • A vehicle detail that doesn’t match the official DVLA/DVSA record (make, model, fuel type, CO2, MOT result, tax status).
  • A VED or TfL ULEZ/Congestion Charge rate that no longer matches the current published rate.
  • A factual claim on About, Methodology, Data Sources, Editorial Policy or the FAQ that is inaccurate or misleading.
  • Wording that implies an official partnership, endorsement or accreditation that does not exist.
  • A broken source link or a mislabelled figure (for example, an estimate shown without being marked as one).

What this process doesn't cover

  • Disagreement with a modelled estimate (depreciation, insurance, servicing, repairs, tyres, fuel/energy or finance) because your real-world cost differs — these are estimates by design, not predictions of your exact cost. See Methodology for the assumptions behind each one.
  • Account, billing or payment issues — use the general support address below instead.
  • Requests to remove a specific vehicle’s data from a report — see the Privacy Policy for data requests.

What happens next

We check the reported figure or claim against the relevant official source or the current product behaviour. Where the report is correct, the page is updated and its “last reviewed” date changes to reflect that. We don't promise a specific turnaround time, but factual errors on published pages are treated as a priority to fix. See the Editorial Policy for the standards this is checked against, and Data Sources for what each figure on 73 Auto is actually sourced from.
